Great gate, but the one from Amazon was poorer quality
I bought this gate at Babies R Us for one stairway, and I love it. It’s natural looking wood so it goes with most decor, it’s easy to install and easy to use.

easy to operate
This gate is a little tough to install but once in place it is easy to open and close with one hand. We put it at the top of the stairs.

Nice gate
We have a very wide open stairway to the basement. This gate is easy to open and seems to be sturdy enough for a very rough and tumble 2 year old boy.

Poorly made, flimsy, difficult to use
We installed this gate on the top of the stairs in our home. It is difficult to open, has broken on us several times, and the bottom latch and the top latch often do not align…
