Nice gate
We have a very wide open stairway to the basement. This gate is easy to open and seems to be sturdy enough for a very rough and tumble 2 year old boy.

easy to operate
This gate is a little tough to install but once in place it is easy to open and close with one hand. We put it at the top of the stairs.

I bought this gate at Babies R Us for one stairway, and I love it. It's natural looking wood so it goes with most decor, it's easy to install and easy to use.
